Pine Creek has some excellent smallmouth bass fishing right now!
Pine Creek has been exceptional this summer, and we hope you enjoyed some great fishing earlier this spring. While current conditions—specifically high water temperatures—are not ideal for trout, the smallmouth bass fishing has been fantastic, with bass actively hitting poppers during the morning and evening hours. It won’t be long until trout season resumes on Pine Creek.
Our priority remains providing honest, reliable information to the anglers who travel long distances and invest their hard-earned vacation time to fish with us. We aren’t interested in social media hype; our goal is to earn your trust as your premier fly shop. Whether you are boating or wading, we are fully stocked with everything you need, from size 24 BWOs to size 1/0 articulated streamers. We have also expanded our selection of smallmouth flies and now carry spinning gear from local suppliers. As a full-service shop, we provide a complete range of spinning tackle, as well as live bait, including night crawlers, baby night crawlers, red worms, and mealworms.
Tired of removing your spikes to get into your inflatable boat? We have the solution! We now carry Korkers and have the triple-threat aluminum hex disks in stock, perfect for the slick rocks of Pine and safe for inflatable boats. We also offer their Bantam Lite and Darkhorse wading boots, along with their All-axis all-purpose wet wading shoe.

The Brown Trout Club is in its drive to raise funds for the 2026-27 Pine Creek stockings. Pins and license plates will become available each new year. Occasionally we have pins and plate from past years if you would be in need of one. All we ask is a donation to receive past years pins and plates. We need your support to continue the heavy stocking schedule that maintains the free, world class fishing experience in The Stretch on Pine Creek.
